Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of commercialsecurityquotes.com, operated by Commercial Security Pros LLC. By using the site or submitting a quote request, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 and authorized to request quotes on behalf of the business or property you are inquiring about.

2. What the service is

We are a referral and quote-matching service. We collect your project requirements and introduce you to independent security contractors who may quote the work. That is the whole of what we do.

We do not:

• Install, service, monitor, or repair security systems.
• Sell, lease, or mark up equipment.
• Prepare the quotes. The contractors do that and send them to you.
• Set prices, negotiate terms, or become a party to any contract you sign with a contractor.
• Guarantee that you will receive a quote, that any quote will be acceptable, or that any particular contractor will respond.

3. Contractors are independent

Every contractor in our network is an independent business. They are not our employees, agents, partners, or subcontractors, and we do not control their pricing, scheduling, workmanship, licensing status, contract terms, or conduct.

We vet contractors before they join the network: state license lookup, certificate of insurance, and review of complaint history. We remove firms that generate complaints. That vetting is a filter applied at a point in time. It is not a warranty of any contractor’s current licensing, insurance, competence, or performance on your project.

Verify independently before you sign anything. Confirm the license with your state board, ask for a current certificate of insurance naming you, and read the agreement, particularly the term length, the monitoring rate, the auto-renewal clause, and who owns the equipment at the end. Any dispute about the work, the quote, or the contract is between you and that contractor.

4. Cost

The service is free to businesses requesting quotes. Contractors pay us for the introductions we send them; that is how we are funded, and it is stated plainly on the site and in our Privacy Policy. We do not accept payment to influence which contractor is presented more favorably.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information. Quotes built on wrong square footage, door counts, or building type are wrong quotes, and correcting them later costs you time.
• Submit requests only for buildings you own, lease, manage, or are authorized to procure for.
• Do not submit another person’s contact details as your own.
• Do not use the site to scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with it, or to submit automated or fraudulent requests.
• Do not use the site for residential projects. We work on commercial and institutional buildings only.

6. Informational content

The pricing ranges, equipment explanations, and code discussion on this site, including anything said about NFPA 72, fire egress requirements, or state licensing, are general information to help you read a quote. They are not engineering advice, legal advice, or code compliance determinations, and they are not a substitute for a licensed designer or your authority having jurisdiction. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its content, and its design are owned by Commercial Security Pros LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read and share it for your own procurement purposes. You may not republish, resell, or scrape it, or use it to build a competing dataset, without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the service are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the information on it is complete or current, or that any contractor will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Commercial Security Pros LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of your use of the site or your dealings with any contractor.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site or the service will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Because the service is free to you, that figure reflects what you have paid us.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Commercial Security Pros LLC against claims arising from information you submitted that was false, from your use of the site in breach of these Terms, or from your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Before filing, please email legal@commercialsecurityquotes.com. Most problems are faster to fix than to litigate.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will move and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to anyone who abuses the site or submits fraudulent requests.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
