Commercial Security Pros, at www.commercialsecurityquotes.com, is an independent quote service for commercial security systems. We were founded in 2019 in Denver, Colorado by a former commercial facilities director and a veteran of the low-voltage integration industry. Between them they had bought commercial security systems and sold them, and they were done pretending the process was fine.
The job is narrow on purpose: make commercial security pricing legible before you sign a five-year agreement. Everything on this site, from the cost guides to the city pages, exists to make three quotes comparable line for line.
What we are
An independent commercial security firm that does not install anything
Three facts that decide whether you should trust a page on this site, stated plainly.
Commercial and institutional buildings only
Offices, warehouses, retail, dispensaries, schools, clinics, dealerships, construction sites and multifamily property. Never residential. The rules a business answers to are different, and so is the contractor who should quote it.
We do not install, monitor, or sell equipment
We scope the project, check the contractors, and put comparable pricing in front of you. We hold no manufacturer relationships and have no reason to steer you toward a brand.
Free to the business asking, paid by the contractor quoting
The licensed contractors in our network pay us for introductions. That is the whole model, and it is stated on every page because it is the only way this works honestly.

How a contractor gets to quote your building
This is the checklist our team runs before a firm is allowed into the network. We publish it because a vetting process you cannot see is just marketing.
State license, checked against the board
Alarm and low-voltage licensing varies by state, and the license a job needs varies with it. We check the relevant state board directly, and every city guide on this site links the public lookup so you can check too.
Insurance confirmed by certificate
General liability verified by a certificate of insurance, not by someone saying so on a call.
Actually working where you are
The contractors who quote your building are the ones who service it afterward. A national logo does not mean a local truck.

These are credentials we check for in the contractors who quote. We hold none of them ourselves, because we do not do the work.
How we write
How the guides on this site are researched
Every cost guide states its range in the first sentence, lists the unit prices the range is built from, and names the published sources it was cross-checked against, with the date each was checked. Every city page and industry page carries a source URL and a verification date on every regulatory claim, and says so explicitly where a rule does not exist.
We never invent a statistic, a certification we hold, or a customer count. Ranges are labeled ballparks for planning. Codes and fee schedules move, so every page that touches a regulation tells you to confirm it with the authority having jurisdiction or the state licensing agency before you sign a scope. Figures are reviewed quarterly and the visible date on a page moves only when its numbers were actually revisited.
