Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Commercial Security Pros LLC (“Commercial Security Pros,” “we,” “us”) operates commercialsecurityquotes.com. We are a lead-generation and quote-matching service for commercial security systems. We are not an installer, a monitoring company, or an alarm contractor, and we do not service the systems we help you price.

This policy covers commercialsecurityquotes.com and the quote request process. It does not cover what a security contractor does with your information after we introduce you. Once they receive your request, their own privacy policy governs their use of it. That distinction matters, and section 4 explains it further.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Everything in this list comes from the quote form. There is no other intake path on this site.

• Project details: the services you are interested in, your industry or building type, approximate square footage, project timeline, whether the work is new or a replacement, and your ZIP code.
• Contact details: your name, business name (optional), email address, and phone number (optional).
• Your consent record: if you check the consent box, we store that you checked it, the exact language you agreed to, and the date and time. See TCPA Consent.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, recorded with your quote request. We keep it as part of the consent record and to detect automated submissions.
• Referring page, so we know which page of the site your request came from.
• Standard server logs generated by our hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving the site.

We do not currently run advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change ships and the effective date above will move.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want government identifiers, financial account numbers, payment card details, health information, or any other sensitive category of personal information. Please do not include such details in a form field.

3. Why we use it

• To match your project with security contractors licensed and insured in your state who work on your building type.
• To pass your request to those contractors so they can prepare and send you a quote.
• To contact you about your request and the quotes it produces.
• To maintain a record of your consent to be contacted, which is a legal requirement for us and for the contractors.
• To detect and block spam, fraud, and automated submissions, and to keep the site working.
• To understand which parts of the site produce useful requests, in aggregate.

4. Who we share it with

Security contractors

This is the core of what the service does, so it should be plain: when you submit a quote request, we share it with a limited number of security contractors selected on territory, state licensing, insurance, and experience with your building type. They receive your project details and your contact details, because that is what they need in order to quote your building and reach you.

Those contractors pay us for the introduction. That is our entire business model and it is how the service stays free to you. Payment does not influence whose quote we present more favorably, because we do not present quotes at all, the contractors send them to you directly.

Each contractor is an independent business and becomes an independent controller of your information once they receive it. We require them by contract to use it only to respond to your request and to honor your opt-out requests, but their handling of it after that point is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

Service providers

We use vendors to run the site and deliver email: hosting, and our transactional email provider. They process information only on our instructions and only to provide those services.

Legal and business transfers

We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order, where necessary to protect our rights or someone’s safety, and to an acquirer in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If ownership changes, this policy continues to govern the information already collected until you are notified otherwise.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information for money to data brokers, marketing list vendors, or anyone else, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sharing your request with the contractors who will quote your building is the service you asked for and is not a sale, but some state laws define those terms broadly, so see Do Not Sell or Share for how to exercise your rights regardless.

5. How long we keep it

We retain quote requests and their consent records for five years. That is deliberately longer than we need the lead for: TCPA claims carry a four-year federal statute of limitations, and the consent record is the evidence that protects both you and us. Server logs are retained for a substantially shorter period in the ordinary course.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See section 6. If a contractor has already received your request, you will need to ask them separately, and we will tell you who they were so you can.

6. Your choices and rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Correct it if it is wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop contacting you, and tell the contractors we introduced you to do the same.

Email privacy@commercialsecurityquotes.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity by confirming details of the request you submitted.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other state privacy law residents have additional statutory rights, including the right to opt out of sale or sharing, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. 7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and quote requests are transmitted encrypted. We limit access to submitted requests to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, which is the practical reason we ask you not to put sensitive information in a form field.

8. Children

This is a service for commercial buildings and businesses. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and move the effective date at the top. Material changes, meaning a new category of recipient, a new purpose, a new tracking technology, will be flagged on the site before they take effect.
